The ICAR is the largest annual international scientific conference devoted to Arabidopsis thaliana, the model research flowering plant used by thousands of researchers worldwide. The global community uses this organism in studies ranging from addressing climate change, worldwide agricultural crises, to catalog the incredible chemical diversity in plants potentially useful for biomedicine, and particularly to inform economically important crop species to ensure agricultural sustainability.

This year’s conference, in St. Louis Missouri, is centrally located in the U.S. heartland and easily accessible by many plant scientists in the US and internationally. St. Louis is a world-renowned hub for plant biology and agricultural biotech institutions like the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, and Washington University in St. Louis (WashU) as well as a diverse set of established and start-up companies that focus on research and development in plant biology and applied agriculture.

The ICARs are notable for featuring cutting-edge research including new technologies and novel tools that will enable their research. We invite you to exhibit at ICAR 2017 if you are a company or organization that provides tools, supplies, equipment, or educational materials to plant researchers.
