Instructions to present your poster in the online platform
2 Step Poster instructions to add your poster to the ICAR 2021-Virtual Platform
Please add your poster pdf (maximum 5 Mb) to the ICAR 2021 online platform* by no later than June 20.
Instructions: Make a post in the ICAR platform tab titled “Posters/Chat/Jobs”. Upload your POSTER pdf (5 Mb Maximum file size) and add your information to the post, as described below.
These instructions are “pinned” to the top of the Event Feed in the platform* if you need to review them
Your Event Feed Post should include:
UPDATED Poster Instructions: Make post, upload POSTER pdf & INFO
1) Post should include: First & Last Name; Abstract # (put # you were assigned @ submission) Abstract Title; keywords.
**Also include your region: #Americas #Asia,Oceania, #Europe** (This text section is accessible via “search” function in the platform's feed; e.g. by name or topic)
2) In your post, ADD hash tag of your General Topic (selected in abstract submission)

In the Platform once you have:
(1) written your post (there is a maximum of 1000 characters)
(2) in your post- added a #hashtag from list above (& you can add other # if you like to help people find your poster)
(3) in your post (not as a comment to your post)- attached your poster pdf (maximum 5 Mb)
Poster Sessions to Present your Poster
Your Region designates when you will present your poster (i.e. be there "live" to answer chat questions. If you decide you want to talk to someone about your poster, you can choose to leave the poster feed and join a poster Lounge, in the Lounge tab, or you could set up a meeting with that person by finding their name in "attendees", hover over their image, click "meet" and set up a time/date to meet).
The abstract book indicates one of these 3 regions next to your abstract (based on where you are in the world).
Poster session 1: Americas Focus- Tuesday June 22. 3-4:30 pm Pacific
Poster session 2: Asia, Oceania Focus- Wednesday June 23. 10-11:30 pm Pacific
Poster session 3: Europe Focus- Friday June 25. 5-6:30 am Pacific

*ICAR Platform- Registered ICAR attendees should have received an email invitation to join the platform directly from the platform. The email sender starts with “Team Hubilo”.

Deadline to submit for oral presentation consideration. Abstracts submitted April 16 - May 20 will be accepted for poster presentation only.

Notification of oral presentation selections. Selected presenters will be confirmed by email and then names/titles will be added to the conference program on this website.
May 20 2021
Submitters offered an oral presentation must accept their offered speaking slot (or slot may be offered to an alternative speaker)
May 20 2021
Final Deadline to be included in the program for: Posters, plenary/keynote speakers, or any other sessions.
May 26 2021
Deadline for all presenters (oral or poster) to register and pay in full or their abstract will be pulled.
